This information sheet describes the modes of processing the personal data of users who visit this website: this information does not concern other websites or online services that can be reached using the hypertext links published on this website.

 

What kinds of personal data do we process and for what purposes?

Navigation data

The information systems and software used to operate this website acquire certain personal data, the transmission of which is necessary in order to use the protocols of Internet communication. These data consist of the IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, the addresses in URI/URL notation of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the dimensions of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful outcome, error, etc.) and other parameters relative to the user's operating system and information environment.

These data are processed for the following purposes:

  1. to enable the user to use this website;

  2. to perform statistical analyses relative to traffic on this website (geographical areas of origin of visitors, pages of greatest interest, etc.);

These data are preserved for 30 days and are then deleted.

Data communicated by the user

In case of receipt of messages and requests to the contact addresses present on this website, we will withhold the sender's data as well as all personal data freely transmitted and included in the communications received, for the sole purpose of answering them. These data will be preserved for all the time necessary to provide a complete response with respect to the requests made to us.

How will the transfer of your Data toward extra-EU Countries be handled?

Your Data may be transferred outside the territory of the European Union, also to Countries where the level of protection of personal data may be inferior with respect to the level guaranteed by the European regulations. This transfer will take place, in any case, in respect of adequate guarantees for the safeguard of your Data and, in particular, of the standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission with decision no. 2010/87/EU.

 

What are the rights you can exercise?

You have the right to apply to the Data Controller (by writing to the contacts indicated hereafter) for access to your personal data, their correction or deletion, limitation of processing. You may also object to our processing them and you also have the right to request their transfer.

Rights of Data Subjects:

Right of access

Data Subjects have the right to obtain confirmation from the Data Controller as to whether or not their personal data is being processed and, in that case, to obtain access to their personal data and to the following information:

a) the purposes for which their data are processed;

b) the categories of personal data involved;

c) the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be communicated, and particularly whether the recipients are in other countries or international organizations and, in that case, to ensure them that adequate guarantees are in place;

d) when possible, the expected period of time for which the personal data will be preserved or, if this is not possible, the criteria used to determine the period;

e) the existence of the right of Data Subjects to ask the Data Controller to correct or delete their personal data, or limit the processing of their personal data, or object to their use;

f) the right to file a complaint with the Guarantor of data protection;

g) if the data were not provided by the Data subjects personally, all information as to their origin may be requested;

h) if there is an automated decisional process, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning the Data Subjects or that reflect in a similarly significant way on them, sufficient information about the logic used should be provided in such cases, as well as the about the importance and consequences of the processing contemplated for the Data Subjects.

Right of correction

Data Subjects have the right to obtain from the Data Controller correction of any inaccurate personal data concerning them, without undue delay.

Right of deletion

Data Subjects have the right to obtain from the Data Controller the deletion of any personal data concerning them without undue delay and the Data Controller has the obligation to delete the data without undue delay if any of the following reasons exists:

a) the personal data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or otherwise processed;

b) Data Subjects revoke the consent on the basis of which the data were processed and there is no other legal basis for processing them;

c) Data Subjects object to processing and there is no legitimate prevailing reason to proceed with processing;

d) the personal data were processed illegally;

e) the personal data must be deleted to fulfill a legal obligation contemplated by the law of the European Union or by the laws of the member state to which the Data Controller is subject.

Rights of limitation of processing

Data Subjects have the right to obtain the limitation of processing in any of the following cases:

a) in case of claims of inaccuracy of the personal data for the period necessary to the Data Controller to verify their accuracy;

b) processing is done illegally but the Data Subjects object to deletion of the data and ask instead that processing be limited;

c) although the Data Controller no longer needs to process them, the personal data are necessary to Data Subjects for the control, exercise or defense of a right in a lawsuit;

d) Data Subjects are opposed to processing, awaiting an audit on the subject of the possible prevalence of the legitimate reasons of the Data Controller with respect to those of the Data Subjects.

Right of opposition

Data Subjects have the right to object at any time to processing of their personal data, based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller, including profiling. Data Subjects also have the right to object at any time to processing of the personal data concerning them for purposes of direct marketing, including profiling, in the measure in which this is connected with said direct marketing.

Right of portability of data

Data Subjects have the right to receive personal data concerning them and supplied to a Data Controller in a commonly used, structured format, legible on automatic devices, and may convey such data to other Data Controllers without impediment by the Data Controller to whom they were supplied when:

a) processing is based on consent or on a contract; and

b) processing is done with automated means.

In exercising the rights relative to the portability of the data, Data Subjects have the right to obtain direct transmission if their personal data to another Data Controller, if technically feasible.
