Calzedonia Group Careers
Those who want to apply for a job within the Group can access the Calzedonia Group Careers website. Our Careers site offers an overview of the company, and describes the different business divisions and open positions in each geographical region, specifying the requirements of each job.
All applications are stored in a single in-house company database, managed in compliance with international privacy laws. There are currently 330.000,000 CVs in the database, more than 161.500 received only in 2018.
In 2019, our branches in 17 countries used the Careers website to publish a total of 1124 listings, receiving 173,900 applications.
Calzedonia is on LinkedIn, the world’s leading professional network, with a page that informs interested parties of open positions and company news (job openings, events, goals reached) via job listings and special posts.
In 2017, the Group published over 180 job listings and approximately 2 posts a day on LinkedIn, reaching a total of almost 215,000 followers.
Each Calzedonia Group country office can collaborate and participate in local recruitment channels. For example, in Italy, the main job boards aside from LinkedIn are Fashionjobs and Almalaurea; in Spain, it's Infojobs.
Calzedonia selects and manages its staff through different HR teams that oversee specific geographic areas. All are aligned with the company values, methods, outlook and leadership style.
Meetings in the Group's headquarters in Verona are organized periodically to update and share human resource management techniques and best practices.
Contact with potential new employees also occurs through our ongoing collaboration with universities, schools and higher education institutes.
In Italy alone in 2018, Calzedonia shared its experience via 17 presentations at secondary schools, universities and master's programs, and at 15 career days, illustrating the professional opportunities offered by all Calzedonia Group departments. Similar initiatives have been carried out in many countries where our branches are located.
Special projects have been implemented to identify talent in areas of particular interest to the company, like Style and Products. The ‘Vision to Come’ initiative was launched in Italy by the Calzedonia Group to identify and support the fashion-world's talents of tomorrow.
Furthermore, with the aim of contributing to the personal development of new generations of professionals, the Group is constantly committed in defining and financing secondary education paths. Italian partenerships with ITS LAST for professionals in the logistics field and ITS MACHINA LONATI for those in the sales field, have already contributed to the acquisition of talents for the company. Last project in temporal order concerns the two-year course Fashion Product Manager of ITS COSMO Verona, which will train 25 Fashion Product Managers starting from October 2019.
Organized within sales points in Italy and abroad, recruiting day is another way to meet potential job candidates.
