OUR PEOPLE

Professional growth

A shared path for employees and managers

Career management

Each year, we hold two official feedback meetings, in which employees meet with their manager to establish their objectives for the next six months.

The HR Team guides and supports these feedback sessions, gathering the information necessary to track availability, ambitions and assessments.

For new hires, we organize meetings with the manager, employee and HR representative to facilitate the onboarding process.

Promoting from within

The Calzedonia Group encourages and prefers to promote from within. Our career paths are designed to allow our top employees to take on roles with increasing responsibility.

In the retail sector, for example, aside from store associates, the entry role is district manager. All our current country managers and brand managers began their career at Calzedonia from this position.

International careers

We work in over 50 countries around the globe.

We offer deserving employees who are willing to relocate international career paths in our commercial, manufacturing and service branches.

Open management positions in Italy and abroad are offered to our best talent, evaluating personal characteristics, availability and the employee's track records.

Italy, the location of the parent company, is still the richest talent base, though appointments of foreign employees to positions in Italy and other countries are on the rise.

International positions

In 2018, our expats held 179 roles abroad: 118 in Europe, 36 in Asia, 18 in North and South America and 7 in Africa.

Production Companies: Talent Programme

We offer a 1-year Talent Program aimed at engineering management employees for production management roles abroad.

The all-encompassing training program touches upon all areas involved in managing a factory and includes at least three visits to different facilities.

SAP Career Academy

This full-time training course is aimed at recent graduates with economic, IT or engineering degrees, preparatory for the training of SAP team employees in the IT Department.

Classroom education offers an overview of the SAP modules implemented at the company through theory and practical exercises.
