Recruiting and developing talent

Calzedonia Group Careers.

Calzedonia Group Careers

Investing in the younger generation and making room for new talents is an essential part of the Calzedonia Group strategy.

Anyone interested in joining us can take a look at the Careers section of the Calzedonia Group website, where information is available on our internal organisation and the activities pursued by the various corporate areas and they can submit an application for the position most in line with their ambitions and in the preferred geographical area.

Talenti

All applications converge in a single in-house corporate database, which today brings together the applications of more than 15 countries and is managed in compliance with international privacy rules.

LinkedIn

The Calzedonia Group is present on LinkedIn, the most important global network designed for professionals, with its corporate page that is kept constantly up-to-date with news, stories, events and initiatives that arise every day within the Group. Vacancies are also published constantly in the Jobs section of our LinkedIn page, where applications can be submitted.

Today, more than 260,000 people follow the Group page.

Talent acquisition

In each country in which the Group operates, the possibility is given to collaborate with the main local recruitment channels and to independently develop the talent acquisition strategy.

The HR Team: human resource management

The Calzedonia Group monitors the selection and management of people through various HR Teams with specific geographic competence that are aligned with the corporate values, method, approach and leadership style.

Regular meetings are organised, both on-line and in person, at the Calzedonia Group HQ in Verona, for updates and to share best practices in HR management.

The partnership with schools and universities

Contact with the various talents and applicants, potential future colleagues, takes place through a constant collaboration with universities, masters courses, schools and further education institutes.

Every year, the Calzedonia Group organises a tightly-packed calendar of company presentations and storytelling opportunities in the various countries, in a bid to have the Group better known and to promote career paths in the different business areas.

Academies

The Calzedonia Group, which has always been projected towards the future, has decided to focus on the younger generation and their education. A great many initiatives have been taken in this respect, including the “Academy” project, a series of training routes carried out entirely within the Group’s headquarters, to have students immediately immerse themselves in the company atmosphere.

The academies last approximately two months, during which time practical workshops alternate with theoretical training delivered by Group managers and recognised external teachers, all focussed on specific business areas. From the first Sap Academy created in 2017 on SAP systems, through to the latest Communication Academy and Style Academy covering communication and style, the project continues to evolve today.

At the end of all academies, the most outstanding students will have the chance to join the Calzedonia Group immediately, with training and corporate experience that has already been consolidated.

International Production Career Program

This is the talent programme dedicated to Management Engineers headed for roles of responsibility within our international production circuit. The training, which lasts one year, involves all management areas of a production plant and involves visiting at least three different plants.
