At the companies within our Group, training takes place in 3 different areas:
In addition, specific, ongoing training is part of each single company within the Group.
Each brand within the Group stands out for its ability to train and prepare retail staff on topics related to products and customer management.
Each brand has a dedicated Training Office which organizes technical and behavioral courses specifically for various retail positions, available to employees throughout their career.
Retail training is widespread and relevant to each country where we operate.
In 2017, the Italian retail staff alone benefited from about 100,000 training hours, which involved over 8,000 people through classroom lessons and on-the-job support.
As part of the ‘Retail Training’ project, each new hire shadows more experienced employees in Calzedonia Group boutiques for one to three weeks in order to better understand the business, clientele in the shops and internal dynamics.
The ‘Office and Retail Worlds’ project includes a shadowing program between colleagues that hold different roles in seemingly distant divisions of the company. The goal is to reduce the distance and misunderstandings between them, and encourage cohesion for shared macro objectives.
For employees of the Group's central office in Dossobuono, the Falconeri headquarters in Avio and the logistics centres in Vallese and Castagnaro, we offer training sessions on organizational behavior every six months.
In 2017, we provided approximately 3,000 training hours, involving over 250 people.
Leaderissimi is the Calzedonia Group training program dedicated to the main managers of the company's Headquarters, Production, Product and Commercial Departments.
Its contents are developed with the input of schools and external educators, for a course that’s perfectly aligned with the Group's values and the leadership style that is valued at the company.
Training projects and the content offered by the central office are shared with sales and production branches, who in turn develop their own custom projects, covering both technical subjects (technical-commercial courses, language courses, etc.), or those focused on the comprehensive management of the team.
Outdoor and team building activities also encourage a feeling of belonging among employees.
